Who We Are

A Safe Place to get Treatment

At Volunteers of America, Utah, our goal is to uplift people with a full spectrum of behavioral health services. We are eager to support changes in the lives of the most vulnerable people in our community. Our staff of highly trained and caring professionals and volunteers prides itself on always stepping forward when the task is most difficult.

Volunteers of America, Utah's Cornerstone Counseling Center was established in 1968 as one of the earliest mental health treatment centers in Utah. Since then, it has led the way in focusing treatment on all family members, based on the recognition that domestic violence, substance abuse and other mental health disorders affect everyone in the family. We strive to reduce the impact of behavioral health on people's lives, and to facilitate lifelong improvements in the well-being of individuals and families.

Volunteers of America, Utah is committed to reaching individuals and families who are otherwise unable to afford treatment. Our counselors and staff work effectively with legally involved clients and seamlessly coordinate treatment with community providers and partners.
