With a dedicated staff of more than 750 expert behavioral health professionals, we answer the call to care for our most vulnerable neighbors throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Our supports range from 24-hour residential care based on individual needs, independent housing with supportive services, medication management, group therapy, counseling, community support and referral and assistance with the activities of daily living.

Volunteers of America Chesapeake is a leader in the field of substance abuse treatment and prevention, offering a continuum of care consisting of supportive services and residential treatment options to assist adults and their families to experience life without addiction and become contributing members of their community.

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
We provide residential programs offering supportive living services, while empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to live independently in their community. Our programs are located throughout Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia.
