Mental Health Services
Volunteers of America Chesapeake provides services and supports to people with mental illness through all our programs. We offer direct services to individuals with significant and persistent mental illness, helping them to lead lives of independence in their communities. Our programs encompass 24-hour residential supports based on individual needs, independent housing with supportive services, medication management, group therapy, counseling, community support and referral and assistance with the activities of daily living. In keeping with the tradition of our founders and our faith-based values, we believe that all individuals should be treated with respect and dignity and receive the individualized supports they need to work towards recovery and self-reliant lives.
