Acceptance, Encouragement and Care

Prevention:

VOA-Utah offers seven addiction prevention programs throughout Salt Lake County and its school districts. Our purpose is to intervene proactively by helping youth and families improve decision-making and family interactions.

Adult Detoxification Center

Detox is the first step on the path to sobriety—but it's often inaccessible to the homeless or those without healthcare coverage. VOA-Utah offers a Social Model Detoxification program, a non-medical and affordable solution that makes detox possible for this population.

Adult Substance Use Disorder Treatment

The Adult Substance Use Disorder Treatment program provides support and structure for individuals struggling with substance use and addiction, as well as co-occurring mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. We offer both an intensive outpatient treatment program and a standard outpatient program.

Young Adult Substance Use Disorder Treatment

By empowering young adults to overcome the risks of substance use, our young adult program meets the unique needs of men and women, ages 18-24, who are experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety.

Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Treatment

The Adolescent Program was created to meet the unique needs of clients aged 13-20 in an environment specifically structured to meet their developmental needs while addressing substance use concerns and mental health issues.
